India resume their first innings against Australia on Day 4 of 4th and final Test in Ahmedabad

In Cricket, India is 445 for 5 against Australia on the fourth day in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in Ahmedabad today. India is five-down at the score of 348 in its first innings.  After a long wait precisely three years and four months later, Virat Kohli has scored his 28th Test century. With this India looks to build a strong foundation to post a solid total in their first innings on Day 4 of the fourth Test encounter.

Earlier, Shubman Gill’s sparkling century kept India strong in their first innings.  India was 289-3at the stumps and still trailing Australia's 480 by 191 runs. Gill stood out with his 128 -- the opener's second Test ton and first in India -- as he built key partnerships including a 113-run stand for the second wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara who made 42.
