India Women Beat England by 24 Runs in 2nd T20I to Take 2-0 Series Lead

India secured a commanding 24-run victory over hosts England in the second T20 International of the five-match series at the County Ground in Bristol on Tuesday night. With this win, the Indian women's team has taken a 2-0 lead in the series.

Opting to bat first after losing the toss, India posted an impressive total of 181 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs. Amanjot Kaur was the standout performer for the visitors, playing a match-winning knock of 63 not out off just 40 balls. Her aggressive innings, laced with powerful strokes, earned her the Player of the Match award.

Chasing 182 for victory, England struggled to build momentum and managed 157 for 7 in their 20 overs, falling short by 24 runs. Despite a few promising starts, the Indian bowlers kept the pressure on throughout the innings, ensuring the hosts were never in control of the chase.

The third match of the series will be played at Kennington Oval, London, on Friday, with the action set to begin at 11 PM IST. India will look to seal the series with another win, while England will be desperate to bounce back and keep the contest alive.
