Ministry Of Mines Secretary VL Kantha Rao Inaugurates Registered Office of Khanij Bidesh India Limited in Delhi
May 11, 2024Ministry of Mines Secretary VL Kantha Rao inaugurated the Registered Office of Khanij Bidesh India Limited (KABIL) in New Delhi on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Rao mentioned that the inauguration of Office of KABIL at Delhi symbolizes a new era of concerted efforts towards ensuring the mineral security of India. He added that with a steadfast commitment to excellence, KABIL is poised to play a crucial role in driving India’s growth and self-sufficiency in the realm of critical and strategic minerals aligning with the objectives of “Make in India” and “Viksit Bharat” and India achieving the Net Zero Emission Goal.
KABIL is a Joint Venture Company formed by three Central Public Sector Enterprises -NALCO, HCL and MECL, under the Ministry of Mines. The company is entrusted the important mission of identifying, exploring, acquiring, and developing critical and strategic mineral assets overseas. Several senior officials of the ministry were also present in the event.
