‘Be aware of CPI(M), Congress, don’t let bad governance back in Tripura’: Yogi

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Tuesday reacted sharply to the seat sharing tactics of the CPI(M) and Congress party in Tripura and urged the voters to be aware of both the parties for the welfare of the state, which had undergone massive transformation after BJP came to power.

Addressing BJP’s campaign rally at Bagbasa in Panisagar sub-division on Tuesday, Yogi Adityanath said, “CPI(M) and Congress got united so that they intensify their ‘Kusasan’ (bad governance) in Tripura. People of Tripura had seen bad governance during the CPI(M) and Congress regime while they were in power.”

“There were hardly any employment opportunities for the youths of this state and even the safety of the women was threatened during the regime of CPI(M) and the Congress party,” he alleged and urged upon the voters to stay away from the CPI(M) and Congress party.

He said, “Tripura had undergone massive transformation after the BJP came to power.” He claimed that Tripura has achieved a new identity because of the development work that the BJP government did in the last five years.

He took a jibe at the Congress party categorically on Monday and alleged, “Corruption is the only identity of the Congress party which never wanted development of the country.

Yogi Adityanath was accompanied by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, who also gave a brief address at the rally.
