PM Modi Congratulates Eminent Personalities Nominated to Rajya Sabha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his heartfelt congratulations to four distinguished individuals who have been nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the President of India. The nominees include eminent lawyer Ujjwal Deorao Nikam, social worker C. Sadanandan Master, former Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, and noted historian Dr. Meenakshi Jain.
In a series of posts on social media, the Prime Minister praised the contributions of each nominee in their respective fields.
Mr. Modi commended Ujjwal Nikam for his unwavering commitment to the legal profession and constitutional values. Describing him as a successful lawyer and a staunch advocate for justice, the Prime Minister noted Mr. Nikam’s pivotal role in several significant legal cases. He highlighted Nikam's dedication to ensuring that every citizen is treated with dignity and fairness under the law.
The Prime Minister lauded Harsh Vardhan Shringla as an accomplished diplomat, intellectual, and strategic thinker. Acknowledging his decades-long service, Mr. Modi said that Shringla had made vital contributions to shaping India’s foreign policy and played an instrumental role during India’s G20 Presidency.
Congratulating C. Sadanandan Master, Mr. Modi described him as a symbol of courage and resilience in the face of injustice. He praised Sadanandan’s lifelong service as a teacher and social worker and recognized his deep commitment to youth empowerment and grassroots development.
Mr. Modi also paid tribute to Dr. Meenakshi Jain, calling her a distinguished scholar, historian, and academician. He emphasized her impactful work in the fields of education, literature, history, and political science, noting that her research has significantly enriched academic discourse in the country.
The Prime Minister concluded his remarks by expressing confidence that all four nominees would bring valuable perspectives and experience to the Rajya Sabha, further strengthening India's democratic institutions.
