CM Dr Manik Saha chairs meeting with delegation from AIIMS
Jun 07, 2025Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday chaired an important meeting between a delegation from AIIMS, New Delhi, and the state's healthcare officials, aimed at improving medical services for patients at Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital. The meeting was held at the TIFT Conference Hall.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha wrote the state government is committed to providing the best possible healthcare services to its citizens. Today chaired an important meeting between a delegation from AIIMS, New Delhi, and our state's healthcare officials, aimed at improving medical services for patients at Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital. The meeting, held at the TIFT Conference Hall, was attended by a delegation led by Prof. M. Srinivas, Director of AIIMS, New Delhi, and officials from the state, Mr. Saha posted.
The GBP Hospital's Rogi Kalyan Samity chairperson and MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, Director Dr. Tapan Majumder and other officials from the Health department were also present in the meeting.
