Congress Releases Manifesto for Ensuing Simultaneous Elections to Lok Sabha, Legislative Assembly of Arunachal
Apr 02, 2024The Congress party released its poll manifesto for the ensuing simultaneous elections to 18th Lok Sabha and 11th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. The manifesto was unveiled by the State Congress president and contesting candidate from Arunachal West Parliamentary seat, Nabam Tuki, along with former MP and party’s election campaign committee chairman Takam Sanjoy and other senior leaders at Itanagar.
The Congress manifesto promises job guarantee to unemployed youths, up-gradation of all Govt primary and middle schools to residential schools, doubling of students’ stipends, setting up of super-specialty hospital in every district HQs, immediate scrapping of National Pensions Scheme (NPS) and restoration of Old Pension Scheme, constitution of the 8th pay commission and implementation of it on time, regularization of the services of contractual and contingency workers among others.
