Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurates Seed processing plant
Apr 02, 2025The State Agriculture minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurated a seed processing center in Bamutia on Wednesday. Speaking in the inaugural ceremony the State Agriculture minister Ratan Lal Nath said under the under the Narendra Modi government, farmers are finally receiving the respect they deserve, a stark contrast to the neglect they faced in the post-independence era. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s focus on the agricultural sector and the importance of farmers as the “providers of food” for the entire country.
He stressed the need to prioritize high-quality seeds, scientific farming methods, and soil testing to advance the state’s agriculture. He noted that Tripura is making significant strides in agricultural production and has earned the trust of the central government.
