Two Bangladeshis detained by the police


Two more Bangladeshi thieves arrested today. This time East Agartala police station arrested two Bangladeshi thieves from Chandrapur on Wednesday night. The police officer in charge of beat patrolling, Mohammad Ullah Kazi, noticed two men roaming in Chandrapur area while doing beat patrolling late on Wednesday night. Then he moved towards them. As the police moved towards them, they tried to run away. Then the police chased them and arrested them. Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ajay Kumar Das told a press conference at East Agartala police station on Thursday.

He said that the arrested are Zayed Hasan, a resident of Feni, Bangladesh and Mohammad Suman Sheikh, a resident of Bagerhat area of Bangladesh. The captives went to Assam via Tripura. From there they came back to the state. Items used in the theft were recovered from the accused. Preliminary investigation revealed that they had come to the state for the purpose of theft. The arrest of two thieves in Bangladesh has again proved that Bangladeshi thieves are involved in one after other thefts in the capital. It is known that the police are interrogating the arrested. Police are trying to find out who else is associated with them. Now let's see what other information the police can find out by interrogating the arrested.
