CM Dr Manik Saha stresses on innovating teaching from primary level
Feb 06, 2025Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday inaugurated state level Teaching Learning Material exhibition cum competition here at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan and laid emphasis on innovative teaching from the primary level.
Addressing the gathering of teachers Chief Minister Dr Saha said that innovative teaching shall play a significant role in rendering quality education to the students. He said that NIPUN Tripura is working tirelessly to ensure basic education to about 90000 students of the primary level by following National Education Policy.
“To educate children in basic education through proper knowledge analysis and make them proficient from the primary level, the National Education Policy was launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
Highlighting the significance of Teaching Learning Material, Dr Saha said that it is very helpful in imparting quality education to primary level students. Teachers are the main driving force of a skilled Tripura, he said, adding that an essential classroom resource for children is the Teaching Learning Material (TLM) of Nipun Tripura Mission. Nipun Tripura aims to build foundation and basic skills in education among children aged between 3 to 7 years.
The Chief Minister visited the TLM exhibition stalls set up by teachers from different districts of the state. Besides, a short documentary on the success of the Education Department with Nipun Tripura Mission was also screened on the occasion.
