AR organizes awareness lecture on national flag for students
Aug 10, 2023Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised an awareness lecture on National Flag, under "Har Ghar Tiranga" Campaign commemorating "Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav" for students of Assam Rifles Public School, Agartala & Udaipur in West Tripura & Gomati Districts respectively of Tripura on 10 Aug 2023.
Students & Teachers were made aware of the inception of National Flag & the numerous changes it has undergone since then. The significance of Tri colour on the flag was also highlighted with a talk on "Ashok Chakra" or the "Dharma Chakra" which holds relevance for students and young generation at large which says that life must keep moving ahead and avoid stagnation.
A total of 803 students, 75 teachers 50 persons from Assam Rifles participated in the event at both locations. The event culminated with singing of National Anthem, distribution of National Flags & sweets to students.
