Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday addressed a gathering of elected members from the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), including MDCs, MLAs, and party office-bearers, at the ‘Janajati Chintan Shivir’ held at Gitanjali Guest House in Agartala.
During his address, Dr. Saha highlighted the development initiatives under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing that good governance has reached both the plains and hills of Tripura. He underscored the BJP-led government's ongoing efforts to bring about socio-economic and political upliftment for the Janajati communities, particularly in the long-neglected northeastern region of India.
“The efforts of the BJP government are now yielding tangible results in improving the lives of the Janajati communities. Our goal is to ensure that development reaches every corner of the state and benefits all sections of society,” Dr. Saha stated.
The Chief Minister also discussed various organizational matters in detail, strengthening the party's presence and outreach across the state.
Present at the event were BJP state president and Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee, Minister Bikash Debbarma, and other prominent party leaders, all of whom reaffirmed their commitment to the ongoing development agenda for the region.
The ‘Janajati Chintan Shivir’ provided a platform for leaders to deliberate on the socio-political challenges facing the Janajati communities and strategize future actions to address these issues.
Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the government has prioritized inclusive development in the northeast, ensuring that the people in both the plains and hills have access to better infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
