BJP in Tripura celebrates poll victory in 3 states

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura celebrated the party’s assembly election victory in three states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan on Sunday.

A large number of party workers and leaders assembled in front of party office here at Agartala Krishnanagar wearing saffron scarf and caps since morning to watch the counting updates in big screen.

Soon after the result was declared the party leaders and workers including the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma and others top leaders joined walked on a victory rally here at Agartala.

Talking to the reporters from the victory rally, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha claimed that the BJP’s win in three states is a reflection of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.

“The victory shows that people rejected Congress and their so called alliance partners because of their anti-development history and misleading politics,” said Dr Saha.

He further said, “With the win in three states today, we are confident of sweeping the ensuing Lok Sabha election and that way we will be able to gift two lotuses to PM Modi.” He pointed out that Modiji's contribution in bringing back the past glory of India and paradigm shift for inclusive development have once again been proved in the results of three major state's election.
