Shah Rukh Khan starrer crosses 1 lakh ticket sales at national multiplexes
Jan 20, 2023The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is slated to hit screens on January 25, while the full-fledged advance bookings open today, certain locations have been seeing brisk sales. In fact, despite the film making headlines for various reasons the hype surrounding the Siddharth Anand director has been gradually growing. As per reports, Pathaan has seen over 1 lakh tickets being sold across national multiplex chains.
As of Thursday, January 19, 11.30 PM, Pathaan had seen sales of 1,17,000 tickets. As expected, the PVR chain of cinemas saw the maximum with 51,000 tickets being sold, following this was INOX which recorded sales of 38,500 tickets, while Cinepolis saw 27,500 tickets being sold. Going by this spate of advance sales, trade expectations have been buzzing with estimates claiming that Pathaan could open with a massive bang at the box office.
Currently, with advance bookings officially opening today, trade predicts a stellar opening. As per the advance estimates Pathaan could see its opening day collections hovering around Rs. 40 cr. mark.
