AR conducts lecture on “Women Empowerment”
Sep 04, 2023Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted a lecture on "Women Empowerment" for the teaching staff of Bani Vidyapith Girls School at Agartala on Monday.
Focus of the lecture was addressing various issues pertaining to women empowerment, self sustenance and entrepreneurship. The aim of the lecture was to raise awareness on various policies undertaken by the Government of India for the welfare and upliftment of women in various fields.
A total of 41 teachers attended the informative lecture. One teacher also shared her motivational success story. Present education system and role of women in overall development of the society was also discussed at length. Event culminated with distribution of light refreshments to all present.
