Tripura Sundari Express met with accident
Jan 12, 2023Tripura Sundari Express met with an accident at Jawaharnagar Railway Station near Ambassa at around 10 am on Thrusday morning. The Agartala-bound train from Delhi hit a (JCB) near Jawaharnagar railway station in Dhalai district. The JCB got twisted. JCB driver and co-driver were injured. However, all passengers of the train are safe. However, it took five hours to restore train movement as a result of the accident.
According to reports, the construction of the railway overbridge at Jawaharnagar railway station has been going on for a few days now. Tripura Sundari Express on its way from Jawaharnagar station to Ambassa at around 9:30 am hit the JCB. As a result, the engine of the train was severely damaged.
The injured driver was taken to the hospital. The fire brigade was informed. Finally at around 3 o'clock another engine was brought and the train left for Agartala.
