CM Dr. Manik Saha attends preparatory meeting of ‘Prati Ghore Susashan’ 2.0


Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday attended a preparatory meeting of ‘Prati Ghore Susashan’ – 2.0 – ‘Good Governance in every house’ here at Agartala Pragna Bhavan and claimed that the image of transparency in the governance system of the state is being reflected in every developmental sector.

He said, “Government employees are the real workers to deliver the various public welfare projects of the government to every citizen of the society. Due to the combined efforts of all, the schemes of the state government are being implemented properly.”

He said that the second phase of good governance – ‘Prati Ghore Susashan’ is going to start in every house with the initiative of the state government. The campaign was launched in every house with the aim of reaching the people of the marginal towns of the state.

The chief minister also reviewed the implementation of E-office and said that most of the state offices are coming under e-office, which if implemented successfully, it will be possible to save office time as well as government expenditure. Besides, it will be possible to protect the privacy of government documents to a greater extent with transparency, he added.

Dr. Saha said that an e-cabinet has already been introduced in Tripura, with which Tripura has become the 4th state in the country. The state of Tripura is progressing first with the move of digitalisation, he claimed.
