EPFO adds 16,26,000 net members in November, 2022
Jan 21, 2023Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, EPFO, has added 16 lakh 26 thousand net members in the month of November last year. Labour and Employment Ministry said, the data indicates an increase of over 25 per cent net additions compared to October, 2022.
The Ministry said, around nine lakh new members have come under the ambit of EPFO. Among the new members, the highest enrolment was registered in the age-group of 18 to 21 years. EPFO is India’s principal organisation responsible for social security coverage to the organised sector workforce.
