CM Manik Saha hands over appointment letters to 184 Junior Engineers


In a significant step towards strengthening infrastructure development and boosting employment, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday handed over appointment letters to 184 newly recruited Junior Engineers (Diploma) under the Tripura Engineering Service (TES) Grade-V(B).

The ceremony was held at the Muktadhara auditorium, where the Chief Minister congratulated the newly appointed engineers and wished them a successful career in public service.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality public services and generating employment opportunities. “In the past seven years, our government has provided 19,742 regular jobs, including die-in-harness appointments,” he said.

He also underlined the crucial role engineers play in the timely and effective implementation of infrastructure projects across the state. “Engineers are the backbone of development. Keeping this in mind, regular recruitment in the Public Works Department (PWD) is being actively carried out,” he added.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ratan Lal Nath, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, and other senior officials.

This recruitment drive reflects the state government’s ongoing efforts to improve public infrastructure while addressing the aspirations of the youth through stable government employment.
