Agartala-Khowai NH-108B to be upgraded into double lane soon: Gadkari
Apr 22, 2023In a bid to facilitate seamless connectivity in the northeast region and stimulate economic growth in Tripura, the ongoing work of refurbishment and enhancement of the Agartala-Khowai section (PKG-I) of the NH-108B will soon be upgraded into 2-lane road with a paved shoulder, said Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday.
Gadkari took to his twitter handle and said, “The project is part of our commitment, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, to facilitate seamless connectivity in the northeast region and stimulate economic growth in the area.”
Meanwhile, the former Chief Minister of Tripura and presently the Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb shared the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s tweet in his social media handle and thanked Prime Minister Narednra Modi and Gadkari for enhancing the road connectivity in Tripura.
