BJP govt in Chhattisgarh will procure more paddy at higher price, says PM Modi


The election campaign for the second phase of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh is in the final stages. Top leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed election rallies in Mungeli and Mahasamund. Whereas, Congress national leader Kumari Selja held a press conference and spoke about the achievements of the Congress government. Along with this, senior leaders of other parties are also engaged in election campaign.

Mr. Modi said in his public meetings held out the promise that if the Bharatiya Janata Party government comes to power in Chhattisgarh, it will procure more paddy at a higher price in the state.  Addressing an election rally in Mungeli in Chhattisgarh, He also promised to give bonus to farmers on their produce. He held the Congress party responsible for the backwardness of SC, ST and OBC even after several decades of Independence. Mr Modi said, he will fulfill all promises made by the BJP in the state in a time bound manner.

 The Prime Minister also raised Mahadev App betting scam issue and accused Congress party and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel of indulging in large scale corruption. Senior Congress leader and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accused the BJP government at the Center of taking selective action of corruption issues.
