Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy to face Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Seung Jae of South Korea in Men's Doubles Final of Indian Open Super 750 Badminton tournament
Jan 21, 2024In the Indian open Super 750 Badminton, World No.2 men’s doubles pair Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will face the third-seeded Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Seung Jae of South Korea in the Men's Doubles Final this afternoon. This will be Rankireddy and Shetty's sixth meeting as a pair against the Korean pair. The Indian duo has emerged victorious against the Korean pair in four out of the previous five encounters. The match will be played at the K. D Jadhav Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
Earlier yesterday, Satwik and Chirag wrapped up the Semi-Final game with a 21-18, 21-14 win over the Malaysian duo W.Y. Soh and A. Chia in 45 minutes.
