Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, along with Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Tinku Roy and several BJP karyakartas, gathered on Sunday at Raimavally to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat.
The event, marked by enthusiastic participation, showcased the party’s continued support and engagement with the Prime Minister’s initiatives. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha said, “It is a great feeling to come together and listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who always thinks about the development of the country and brings new ideas for the betterment of society.”
This broadcast marked the 123rd episode of Mann Ki Baat, a flagship programme that first aired on October 3, 2014. Since its inception, the programme has served as a platform for the Prime Minister to connect directly with citizens and share thoughts on various national issues, social initiatives, and developmental goals.
During Sunday’s address, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the government's commitment to inclusive development. He emphasized that the country is moving forward with a “feeling of saturation” in sectors such as healthcare and social security — ensuring that benefits are reaching every segment of society. “Most of the population is now availing at least one form of social protection,” the Prime Minister said, describing it as a reflection of social justice in action.
The gathering in Tripura was one of many across the country where citizens and leaders came together to engage with the Prime Minister’s message, reinforcing the widespread resonance of Mann Ki Baat as a tool for nation-building.
