CM Dr. Manik Saha inaugurates 53rd All Tripura Medical Conference- TRIMACON 2023
Apr 08, 2023Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday inaugurated the 53rd All Tripura Medical Conference – TRIMACON 2023 here at the Indian Medical Association (IMA) house in Agartala.
Addressing the gathering of doctors in the conference, the Chief Minister said that the government is working rapidly to improve the state’s health care services. Underlining the achievements of the government in the health sector the Chief Minister said that Super Specialty OPDs have been introduced, state's health system is improving in all areas of medical services, from cardio to neuro, Trauma centers have been set up at three locations in the state, Primary Health Centers are being upgraded to Wellness Centres.
He claimed that the only government dental college in the state has already been set up and the largest oxygen plant in the North Eastern region has been commissioned here in the state of Tripura.
“Efforts have been made to make the overall medical system of the state modern and mass-oriented. The present government has launched a campaign so that the people of the remote areas of the state can avail the better medical services of the state,” Dr. Saha said.
The Chief Minister said that many times it is seen that doctors or medical workers are affected in various ways. In that case, people who come to take advantage of health services need to remember that doctors and health workers are members of our society, he said.
