CM Dr. Manik Saha Chairs Patient Welfare Committee Meeting


Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday chaired a significant meeting of the Patient Welfare Committee at Indira Gandhi Memorial (I.G.M) Hospital and Agartala Government Dental College, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving patient services.

During the meeting, which was attended by senior health officials and administrative authorities, Dr. Saha conducted a comprehensive review of the current state of medical services and infrastructural facilities. Key issues related to patient care, service delivery, and ongoing development projects within the hospitals were thoroughly discussed.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Saha emphasized that patient welfare remains a top priority for his government. “Our government is tirelessly working to ensure that every patient in the state’s hospitals receives the highest quality treatment and services,” he said.

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of timely execution of the decisions taken during the meeting and reiterated the administration's resolve to address the challenges faced by patients and healthcare workers alike.

The discussions also focused on enhancing hospital amenities, strengthening medical staffing, and ensuring the availability of essential equipment and medicines. Officials assured that actionable steps would be taken immediately to implement the recommendations made during the session.
