Agartala, July 23: As the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday proposed the Union Budget 2024-25 in the Lok Sabha, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha hailed the budget as far-sighted and well-balanced document, which ensures all round development for the poor, youth, farmers and women.
The Chief Minister on his social media handle on Tuesday stated, “The budget for 2024-25, tabled in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, will play a key role in materialising the dream of Viksit Bharat. This is also a bold initiative to fulfil the dream of Antyodaya.”
Saha further noted that the budget aims to lay a solid foundation for reaching a USD 5 trillion economy, describing it as a groundbreaking initiative that sets a new trajectory for India's economic future.
