CM Dr Manik Saha chairs review meeting in traffic management
Nov 04, 2023Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday chaired a meeting here at the secretariat to review the traffic management in the capital town of Agartala.
Chief Secretary J K Sinha, Director General of State Police Amitabh Ranjan, Secretary Dr. Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary of Urban Development Department Abhishek Singh, Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav and District Magistrate of West Tripura and Dr. Vishal Kumar among others attended the meeting.
The meeting mainly focused on the issues of parking management and traffic congestion in Agartala city. During the meeting, the Chief Minister has felt the necessity to widen the roads to cope up with the increasing traffic. He also asked the officials to strengthen the traffic management and emphasized on strict adherence to traffic management rules.
