CM Dr. Manik Saha inaugurates blood donation camp by ‘Spandan’
Apr 08, 2023Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday inaugurated a voluntary blood donation camp here at Agartala Press Club organised by the ‘Spandan’ social organisation based in Agartala.
Altogether 78 persons including women and students donated blood in the camp. The Chief Minister interacted with the donors and praised the ‘Spandan’ social organisation for organising the event.
Addressing the event, the Chief Minister said that the requirement of blood could only be met through voluntary blood donation, he said, adding that one can save a precious life by donating blood voluntarily.
The Chief Minister called for mass blood donation and said that donating blood should become a habit for masses as blood can save lives.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder and others were present in the blood donation camp.
