The vibrant state wide Basanta Utsav (Spring Festival) celebration took place at the B.T. College grounds on Sunday. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Mayor Dipak Majumder and others were also present. The event was marked by colourful cultural performances, traditional music, and a festive atmosphere, drawing a large crowd of residents and visitors.
The Basanta Utsav showcased the rich cultural heritage of Tripura, with various artists and performers presenting traditional songs, dances, and artistic displays. The event aimed to celebrate the arrival of spring and promote the state’s cultural identity. The public was able to enjoy many different types of cultural displays and also food and locally produced goods. This festival has shown the beauty of the cultural traditions of Tripura and has promoted local artists.
