CM inaugurates paragliding spot in Jampui tourist place


Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha claimed that his government is running with transparency so as to boost the developmental pace in the state of Tripura. Dr. Saha on Thursday inaugurated a paragliding spot in Jampui tourist place, new building of Jampui Higher Secondary School and ‘Prati Ghore Sushasan’ campaign in Jampui block.

Addressing the gathering of people of Jampui Hill in North Tripura district on Thursday, the Chief Minister said, “We have noticed that due to various reasons some people are still not properly aware about the various schemes and services provided by the state government. The government is delivering the facilities of various government projects and services at every door.”

The Chief Minister said that the central and state governments have various schemes to improve the standard of living of the people. While various facilities have already reached the people of most parts of the state.

Meanwhile, Dr. Saha said that the state government has taken various steps to render quality education. He said, “Series of initiatives have been taken so far by the state government in guidance of the Centre to enhance the education sector of Tripura, where students are to be benefited at large.”

“Government also took many initiatives to boost the tourism sector so as to attract foreign tourists in addition to the local tourists. This would also boost the state’s economy at large. In the future, this paragliding will become attractive not only to tourists from the state but also from outside the state,” he said.

Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Santana Chakma, TIDC Chairman Tinku Roy, North Tripura District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar B, District Superintendent of Police Kiran Kumar K and other officials were present on the occasion.
