Govt of terror was ruling Tripura before 2018 – CM Dr. Manik Saha urges to vote for BJP

At a time when almost all the opposition political parties are leaving no stone unturned in blaming the ruling BJP led coalition government over deteriorating law and order situation, the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Tuesday came down heavily on the opposition parties and said, “Government of terror was ruling Tripura for decades till 2018. It was the ruling BJP government, which brought a change in the state and rescued the people of this state from a rule of terror.”

The Chief Minister Dr. Saha was addressing an inauguration programme of a series of government projects in Pecharthal under the Unakoti district.

Dr. Saha said, “There is a constant attempt going on to create division among the tribals and non-tribals in Tripura. A section of people are trying to do that using muscle power and nothing else.”

“We have seen two governments’ rule the state, of which one is known for its terror tactics and another as indiscipline party,” he said, adding that the present government is working for the democratic rights of the people and also fulfil the basic needs of the people of this state.

Dr. Saha, who also holds the home portfolio, Tuesday lashed out at the opposition parties and said, “The oppositions have been blaming the present government over poor law and order situation. But the fact is that the opposition parties did much more rallies and meetings than the ruling BJP. If democracy is not here then how can they hold so many rallies and meetings?”
