Mizoram: Re-polling being held in Muallungthu Polling Station in Aizawl South - 3 constituency
Nov 10, 2023In Mizoram, re-polling is being held in Muallungthu Polling Station in Aizawl South - 3 constituency today. Polling began from 7 AM and will go till 4 PM. There are 1084 voters in this Polling Station including 548 female voters. Aizawl South - 3 constituency is witnessing a four-corner contest.
Re-polling was necessitated due to the mixing up of 'mock' poll votes with the actual vote cast on the polling day. The state Election Department has appealed to the voters of Muallungthu Polling Station to come out in large numbers and participate in the re-poll.
Mizoram went to polls in a single phase on November 7 to elect 40 members of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly with a polling percentage of more than 80 percent.
