CM Dr. Manik Saha lauds PM Modi for discussing self-reliance India at 'Mann Ki Baat'


Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday listened to the 106th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' along with MLA Meena Rani Sarkar at booth number 9 under 14 –Badharghat assembly constituency on Sunday and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts for making a self-reliance India.

After hearing the “Mann Ki Baat” programme, Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that truly, he is a renowned personality. “For the entire month, we keep on waiting for the last Sunday as we would be able to hear from him through ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

“Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted that India is becoming the world’s biggest manufacturing hub today and many big brands are manufacturing their products in the country. Modi ji called upon people to adopt these products to give a fillip to Make In India by being ‘Vocal For Local’. Modi ji also asked people to insist on paying via the UPI digital payment system, said Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha.

The Chief Minister also said that, “In his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode today, Modi ji has said the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which has been going on for the last two and a half years across the country, will conclude on the 31st of October. On this day, nation celebrates the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, we are working to build Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura ' and ensure the welfare of all sections of people," said the chief minister.
