B’desh Asst High Commission at Agartala to observe ‘Mahan Vijay Diwas’ on Dec 16
Dec 13, 2022Agartala, Dec 13: To mark the decisive victory of India over Pakistan and the Liberation of Bangladesh in 1971, the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission at Agartala will observe the ‘Mahan Vijay Diwas’ on December 16 here at Agartala through a series of programmes.
Addressing a press conference, the Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner at Agartala Arif Mohammad said that the Mahan Vijay Diwas will be observed with the hoisting of the flag of People’s Republic of Bangladesh at 8 AM followed by offering floral tribute to the portrait of Bangladesh’s father of nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Series of programmes will be organised on December 16 next followed by a discussion and cultural evening programme at the commission office, where Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker and MLA Ratan Chakraborty will remain present as the chief guest, he told reporters. The First Secretary of the Commission Md Rezaul Haque Chowdhury and First Secretary Md. Al Amin was present in the press conference.
