Odisha CM Patnaik speaks to PM Modi over phone and briefs him about latest situation, particularly treatment of accident victims


Odisha Chief Minister  Naveen Patnaik spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi this morning over the phone and briefed him about the latest situation, particularly on the treatment of the rail accident victims. The Chief Minister assured that all possible steps are being taken to save the lives of injured passengers in different hospitals of the State. The doctors, medical students are doing their best efforts to save lives.

Doctors, students, and common people are coming forward to donate blood for the injured persons. Saying that we follow a policy that underlines 'Every Life is Precious,'  Mr. Patnaik said, starting from the rescue operation to carrying the injured to hospitals and making arrangements for treatment, the Odisha government is leaving no stone unturned to save lives.

The Chief Minister said, 382 passengers are now undergoing treatment in various government and private hospitals. The Prime Minister thanked the Chief Minister, and the Odisha government, for the prompt and efficient action during the crisis. The Prime Minister said, the Centre is ready to provide any assistance if required. He also praised the people of Odisha for timely help and the kind of support they have provided in this hour of crisis.
