With barely a month left for the crucial assembly election in Tripiuura, the BJP-led coalition government on Wednesday formed a three-member committee headed by a retired high court judge to look into the issues of 10,323 retrenched teachers.

"The committee will submit their recommendation to the government on or before March 31, 2023," he said.

The committee will be headed by Justice (retired) AB Paul, while advocate Chandra Shekar Sinha and retired IFS officer Prasenjit Pal will act as a member of the panel. Four officers will be engaged to help the committee.

According to the memorandum of the Additional Secretary of Secondary Education, the committee will submit their recommendation to the state government on or before March 31, 2023.
