‘Govt trying to resolve issues’ – CM Dr. Manik Saha urges 10323 teachers to have faith on Govt


Amid the ongoing protests by the 10,323 sacked ad-hoc pay teachers, the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday urged the groups to have faith on government. “Government is trying to resolve the issues of the 10323 teachers,” he said.

Replying to the query of the reporters on Monday, the Chief Minister said, “We are constantly in touch with the legal experts and advisors in regard to the restoration of their service.”

Dr. Saha was speaking to the reporters on Monday while he was on his door-to-door campaign for the BJP party in his Bordowali assembly constituency.

The 10,323 sacked teachers had started their protest movements since the onset of the BJP government in Tripura and just as the next assembly election of the BJP government’s tenure is ensuing the sacked teachers intensified their movement to press for their demand of an alternate job for them.
