Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee remembered on his 123rd birth anniversary
Jul 06, 2023Tripura along with the rest of the nation on Thursday remembered the founder of Bharatiya Jan Sangh Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his 123rd birth anniversary in a function here at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan.
Addressing the gathering the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee dedicated his life to building a strong India and made incomparable contribution to the country’s integrity.
Paying tribute to the portrait of Dr. Shyama Prasad, the chief minister also said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from the beginning, has tried to inspire and influence the young generation by the ideology and life of the legendary leader.
Having been influenced by the great sons of India like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, PM Modi had started his mission of reaching out to the last person of the country for their development. The state government is also marching on the same path for the development of Tripura.
Dr. Saha said that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee gave foremost priority to the nation, its integrity and welfare of its people. At the present political and economic situation of the country leaders like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee are needed most.
