CM Dr. Manik Saha chairs State Level DISHA Committee meeting
Mar 29, 2025Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha on Saturday chaired the State Level DISHA Committee meeting for the financial year 2024-25 at Secretariat. Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, MLA Kishore Barman, MLA Birjit Sinha, MLA Manoj Kanti Dev, MLA Shailendra Chandra Nath and others were also present.
Speaking in meeting Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said central projects implemented in the state should be completed within the specified time frame while maintaining quality. Stakeholders also have important responsibilities in the maintenance of projects., he added.
In the meeting, the current status, progress, future plans and new initiatives of the central projects implemented in the state were discussed in detail. In the meeting, the secretaries of the concerned departments presented detailed information about the current status of the ongoing central projects in the state.
Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said that the present state government believes in running the government with transparency. It is necessary to make the people more aware about the benefits of the projects for the proper implementation of various public welfare projects, he added.
