MP Biplab Kumar Deb chairs Airport Advisory Committee Meeting at MBB Airport
Jul 05, 2025Member of Parliament from West Tripura and former Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb, chaired a meeting of the Airport Advisory Committee at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport on Saturday. The meeting was convened to review ongoing developments, enhance passenger facilities, and strengthen inter-agency coordination at the airport.
Key officials present at the meeting included MBB Airport Director KC Meena, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kiran Kumar K, and former MLA Krishna Dhan Das, along with other members of the advisory committee.
During the meeting, various issues related to airport infrastructure, security measures, and service delivery were discussed in detail. Emphasis was placed on improving the overall passenger experience and ensuring timely implementation of upcoming projects.
MP Biplab Kumar Deb underscored the strategic importance of MBB Airport as the gateway to Tripura and the need for constant upgradation to meet growing demands. He also lauded the efforts of airport authorities and district officials for their continued cooperation and commitment.
