Along with the rest of the world Tripura also celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day 2023.Yoga is rooted in ancient Indian tradition. It keeps our body & mind healthy, said Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha in the inaugural session of the state-level Yoga session at the international exhibition hall, Hapania on the occasion of 9th International Day Yoga 2023 on Wednesday.

He said, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi  is taking the country forward based on the country's heritage and ancient culture. We also have a duty to respect the country's traditions and ancient culture.

International Yoga Day has been celebrated all over the world since June 21, 2015. There is no substitute for yoga to keep the body healthy.

"Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," this year's International Day of Yoga 2023 theme, beautifully summarizes collective aspiration for "One Earth, One Family, One Future".

Addressing at the event Sports Minister Tinku Roy said that much of the country's heritage was lost during the British and Mughal rule in India.

But ever since Narendra Modi took charge as the Prime Minister, he has been constantly working to revive the country's dignity and heritage.
