Drug peddler caught by locals, handed over to police
Mar 10, 2025The locals of No. 1 Tilla Market in Belonia on Monday morning caught red one drug peddler from the market. The drug peddler has been identified as Arjun Baidya a notorious drug peddler.
Market vendors became suspicious of Baidya’s movements amidst the bustling crowd. Upon confronting and searching him, they reportedly discovered over 30 containers filled with heroin in his possession. The traders detained Baidya, securing him at the market post, and promptly notified the Belonia police station. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers took Baidya into custody along with the seized narcotics.
