Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Friday flagged of Cycle rally and Peace walk on the occasion of World Tourism Day in presence of Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury at Ujjayanta palace.
While speaking to the reporters Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said tourism industry can play an important role in the economic prosperity of the state. The Center and the present state government have taken various steps to develop this industry in the state. The Governor said that the tourism industry in Tripura has a bright future. There are many tourist attractions here, which are attracting both domestic and foreign tourists. This is clearly reflected in the increasing number of tourists arriving in the state every year.
Speaking on the occasion, Tourism Minister Sushant Chowdhury said that the present government of the state is working tirelessly with the help of the central government to present Tripura to the whole world.
