Ukraine: Govt Websites hit cyber-attack
Jan 14, 2022In Ukraine, Websites belonging to a number of government ministries have been hit today by what is believed to be a cyber-attack. The hack comes as tensions remain high between Ukraine and Russia.
It was not immediately clear who could be behind the attack, meanwhile a specialized policing unit has begun working to uncover the possible source.The European Union in a statement said that it was rallying all its resources to help Kyiv following the breach.
The Ukrainian government said, a number of sites were suspended to prevent the attack from spreading. On other hand, the security service said, many sites have already been restored.
