CM Dr Manik Saha interacts with beneficiaries of Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra


Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday called upon for a collective effort in building developed India by 2047 by maximizing the accessibility of government benefits for the well-being of all citizens.

Dr Saha interacted with the beneficiaries of the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) here at Agartala Suryamaninagar and said that in respond to the call of developed India by 2047 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is a need to extend the benefits of all the flagship programmes of Modiji to people living in remote places.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being undertaken throughout the country to ensure that benefits of the central government schemes reach every doorstep even in remote places. PM Modi inaugurated the yatra in Jharkhand on November 15.

“Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the state government is working to ensure transparency in public service,” Dr Saha said, adding that in addition to the evolving Vikshik Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the state government has also launched the ‘Prati Ghare Sushasan 2.0’ programme. The objective of this campaign is to identify and extend the benefits of various government schemes to those who are eligible but have not yet availed the benefits, he added.
