Opposition hatching propaganda to tarnish BJP Govt: CM Dr. Manik Saha

Taking a jibe on the opposition parties including the CPI-M and the Congress over their remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state on Sunday last, the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Monday said, “Worried of the PM Modi’s mammoth rally here at Agartala, the opposition CPI-M and the Congress party is simply hatching conspiracy and propaganda to tarnish the image of the BJP-led coalition government in Tripura.”

Dr. Saha was addressing a party gathering in Sepahijala district on Monday in a party event.  He said, “While the CPI-M party is known for violence across the state, the opposition Congress party is known as the most indiscipline party.”

The Chief Minister, Monday inaugurated the BJP Sepahijala Party Office and said, “All the party activities of Sepahijala district will be managed from this party office”. He inspired the party activists on Monday and said, “The party office is like a temple, where we worship the almighty. We believe in three – ‘K’ – ‘Karyalay’, ‘Karyakarta’ and ‘Karyakram’.”

“The party office is not only meant for the BJP karyakartas but is open for all people of the area as it will be helpful during any kind of emergency or natural calamities,” he said.

Deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Verma and BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee among others were present in the programme.
