CM Dr Manik Saha announces 3% DA for employees, pensioners
Mar 21, 2025Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday announced 3% DA and DR for the government employees and pensioners with effect from April 1. With the 3% hike announcement, total DA increased to 33% narrowing down the gap with the Central DA to 20%.
Dr Saha made the announcement on the first day of the Tripura Assembly Budget session on Friday.
"We have decided to provide 3% DA and DR for government employees and pensioners," Saha said while addressing the state assembly.
"To pay the fresh DA and DR, the state government had to incur an additional expenditure of Rs 300 crore," CM Saha told the House.
