The mayor distribute clothes to the cleaning workers
Sep 27, 2022On the occasion of upcoming Durga Puja, clothes were distributed by an organization in Shankar Choumuhani area on Tuesday. Mayor Deepak Majumder handed over new clothes to the sanitation workers of Agartala Municipal Corporation and said that the organization has taken this initiative as a social responsibility so that the sanitation workers can wear new clothes and enjoy the puja in the upcoming Durga Puja. He said that such initiative of the organization is highly commendable.
This Durga Puja is not only a Bengali festival. It’s a Universal worship of people from all sections. People exchange love through worship. And any good work did through charity. Mayor Deepak Majumder congratulated them for taking the initiative to distribute such clothes on the occasion of Durga Puja. On this day, West District President Antara Dev Sarkar, editor of the organization and others were also present in the cloth distribution ceremony.
