Positive Barta Launches Mission to Plant 1 Crore Trees in a Year
Jun 03, 2025
Positive Barta is a platform dedicated to fostering a society that is industry-friendly, environmentally conscious and humane by spreading a message of optimism and progress. Beyond its work in education, healthcare, tourism and women’s entrepreneurship, the platform plays a vital role in raising awareness and inspiring social change. Now, with a firm commitment to environmental conservation, Positive Barta is setting out on this unique mission to plant one crore trees.
To kick off the campaign, a massive tree plantation drive is being organized in collaboration with Tripura Santiniketan Medical College and Santiniketan Medical College & Hospital. Under this initiative, all 10,000 members of the Positive Barta community have been encouraged to plant at least five trees each. Additionally, heads of institutions affiliated with Positive Barta have been requested to motivate their teachers, staff and students to actively participate in the campaign.
This initiative is not limited to members alone. Positive Barta has extended an open invitation to environmentally conscious individuals who may not be directly associated with the platform, urging them to join this green movement. The organization strongly believes that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility and a social obligation.
In a particularly heart-warming gesture, at West Bengal, patients recovering from Santiniketan Medical College & Hospital will plant a tree as they are discharged. Each tree will serve as a symbol of their recovery and a lasting bond with the hospital. This idea brings a deeper emotional dimension to the campaign - transforming tree planting into a joint prayer for personal healing and the planet’s well-being.
