The Glacial Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF) expedition team in Mangan District reached Gurudongmar Lake, where they participated in traditional prayer ceremonies led by monks from Lachen Monastery and Lachen Dzumsa.

The lake is growing rapidly and lies just 500 meters from the international border. The team will conduct a detailed study of Khangchung Tsho and Shako Chho Lakes tomorrow.
